Sorry, but this is completely repugnant. Cults aren’t trivial and anyone who has been touched by one will tell you they aren’t an example of anything good. If you had to go here to find something to write about it might be time to stop.
I didn't mean to suggest cults are trivial at all, so I'm sorry if that's how it came across. But in my opinion there are lessons to take away from anything. The concept of cult brands is nothing new, and certainly not something I've dreamt up. For me, there are clear analogies between literal cult followings and cult brand followings. I don't personally believe identifying those similarities trivialises anything.
